We provide hassle-free medical CDL evaluations on location. Same day visits are available upon request. Our laboratory is on site, making the this experience a one-stop visit!
The Certified Medical Examiner Registry means you may have to get your next DOT physical from a new doctor.
Your exam will consist of the following:
- Vision – 20/40 each eye with 70 degree peripheral
- Hearing – No more than 40 dB hearing loss total
- Mouth/Throat – Damage or deformites that could interfere with breathing
- Vascular System – Pulse rate and amplitude, vein conditions
- Heart – Murmurs, enlargement, pacemakers, defibrillators
- Lungs and Chest – Respiratory rate and function breath sound, cynosis
- Genito-Urinary – Hernias
- Eyes – Pupil reaction, sign of eye disease
- Ears – Damage to ear drum or canals
- Blood Pressure – Two readings of 140/90 or better
- Spine and Musculoskeletol – Deformity, history of surgery, mobility, tenderness
- Arms and Hands – Deformites, atrophy, weakness, paralysis, mobility, tenderness
- Legs and Feet – Deformites, atrophy, weakness, paralysis, mobility, clubbing, edema, limp
- Urine Test – No blood, protin, and sugar in urine
- General Appearance – Weight, tremors, signs of substance abuse
Note: These are health issues which will trigger an automatic failure
- Implantable cardioverter defibrillator
- History of current diagnosis of Epilepsy
- Use of Antiseizure medicines
- Use of prohibited medications
- Current diagnosis of alcoholism
- Insulin-dependent Disbetes (possibly)
